INTERNSHIP WORK

This data visualization was created during my internship at the South China Morning Post, the leading English-language newspaper in Hong Kong. It was published as a full-page feature on the back page of the newspaper.

In recent years, Hong Kong's summer temperatures have risen significantly due to global warming. Instead of merely sensing the increasing heat, compiling real data provides a clearer understanding of the current situation. A line graph with dots of varying colors, representing different temperatures, illustrates the number and concentration of heat waves in Hong Kong. Additionally, notes highlight significant days and important events related to the heat waves.
